Wholesale Gourmet Salts for Shops with Good Taste
Maison Kojira is an independent, family-owned food house from Bangkok. We create remarkable flavours from real ingredients: black garlic aged for five weeks, lemons preserved for six months, fermented mushrooms and mineral salt reduced over wood fire and sun-dried in Isaan, Thailand.
Our approach to wholesale gourmet food begins with four distinctive salts, each with its own character and culinary possibilities. Presented in elegant amber-glass jars, the collection gives your customers something delicious to discover, enjoy and return for.

Cookware, Tableware & Culinary Shops
Beautiful plates and bowls make you imagine what you’ll serve in them. A well-seasoned cast-iron pan, a fine chef’s knife or a cookbook full of possibilities can be just as inspiring.
Imagine the Maison Kojira collection alongside beautiful ceramics and serving boards, Kojira Black Garlic Salt among premium grilling equipment, or Kojira Fermented Mushroom Salt beside a collection of Italian cookbooks.

Premium Grocers & Food Halls
A good steak for dinner, fresh vegetables for roasting, seafood for the weekend. In a thoughtfully stocked gourmet supermarket, the possibilities for pairing Maison Kojira with what’s already in the shopping basket are almost endless.
From premium grocery chains to department-store food halls, the collection brings four distinctive salts to the shelves, each with its own character and culinary possibilities. Whether customers are planning an everyday dinner or something more elaborate, there’s a flavour worth exploring.
Placed near fresh produce, the butcher’s counter, seafood or the cheese selection, the salts make intuitive companions to ingredients customers have already chosen. Someone picking up ripe tomatoes can discover Kojira Artisan Mineral Salt; someone planning a fish dinner might reach for Kojira Preserved Lemon Salt.

Our Debut Collection
We begin with four distinctive salts, each with its own character, culinary possibilities and place on the shelf. Together, they introduce Maison Kojira’s approach to flavour: remarkable ingredients, patient craftsmanship and a little culinary curiosity.

Kojira Black Garlic Salt
90 g · Dark, mellow, balsamic umami.
Five weeks of slow ageing transform garlic into something dark, mellow and almost balsamic. With 28% black garlic, this gourmet salt brings rich sweetness and deep umami to steak, eggs, mushrooms and roast potatoes. On warm food, it softens into butter, crust and pan juices, making already-good food even more savoury.
Pairs beautifully with: Steak, lamb, eggs, mushrooms, roast potatoes and aged cheeses.
In store: Alongside premium meats, cheeses and grilling equipment.
Retail price: €25

Kojira Preserved Lemon Salt
90 g · Bright citrus, rounded acidity and savoury depth.
Whole lemons preserved for six months develop a deeper, rounder citrus character, with brightness, fragrant peel and a lovely savoury edge. Made with 49% whole lemons, this gourmet salt brings lively acidity and matured lemon flavour to fish, chicken, yoghurt and vegetables. Stirred into olive oil or sprinkled over warm food, it adds a fragrant citrus finish that fresh lemon alone cannot provide.
Pairs beautifully with: Fish, shellfish, chicken, yoghurt, soft cheeses, olive oil, and roasted vegetables.
In store: Alongside fresh seafood, fine olive oils, soft cheeses and Mediterranean ingredients.
Retail price: €25

Kojira Fermented Mushroom Salt
80 g · Deep, concentrated mushroom umami.
Each jar begins with 400 g of fresh shiitake, eringi and shimeji mushrooms, fermented and carefully dried to concentrate their natural umami. Shiitake brings dark savoury depth, shimeji a delicate mushroom aroma and eringi an almost meaty richness. This gourmet salt makes eggs taste richer, steak more savoury and risotto and broths wonderfully full of flavour.
Pairs beautifully with: Eggs, steak, chicken, mushrooms, broths, butter, potatoes and vegetables.
In store: Alongside premium meats, speciality mushrooms, risotto ingredients and quality cookware.
Retail price: €25

Kojira Artisan Mineral Salt
90 g · Soft, rounded mineral salinity.
Harvested from our family salt fields in Isaan, Thailand, this unrefined mineral salt is slowly reduced over wood fire, lifted by hand and dried under the sun. Its softer, rounder salinity brings out the sweetness of ripe tomatoes, the richness of egg yolks and the savoury depth of meat, fish and broths. A versatile salt for cooking, finishing and everyday use, with a permanent place beside the stove.
Pairs beautifully with: Ripe tomatoes, eggs, steak, fish, chicken, vegetables, rice, butter and broths.
In store: Alongside fresh produce, fine olive oils, everyday cooking essentials and quality kitchenware.
Retail price: €16

Retail Margins & Pricing Freedom
Our 40% wholesale discount provides a strong starting point for attractive retail margins. You’re free to set your own selling prices to reflect your local market, shipping and import costs, and the value of your retail offering.
By importing multiple jars in a single shipment, you spread international freight costs across your order. This can allow you to charge more than our website price while still offering customers a lower total cost than ordering directly from Thailand, where smaller orders typically incur international shipping charges. That can leave room for a healthy retail margin.
Larger orders can improve your margins further, as shipping costs per jar generally decrease with volume. Maison Kojira charges shipping at cost, without handling fees or markups.
Retail Price Integrity
When you choose to stock Maison Kojira, you’re investing your shelf space, reputation and customer relationships in our collection. We respect that investment.
That’s why we maintain consistent retail prices on our own website. We don’t use ongoing online discounts, flash sales or aggressive promotions to compete with the shops that carry Maison Kojira. We want our retail partners to build lasting relationships with their customers, confident that we’re supporting their business rather than competing for the same sale.
Exclusive Retail Opportunity in Your Neighbourhood
We believe Maison Kojira is best represented by a carefully chosen retail partner in each selected neighbourhood. This allows us to build meaningful relationships with our retailers while giving the collection a distinctive place in the local community.
That’s why we offer local retail exclusivity from your first wholesale order. We won’t supply another physical retail shop within your agreed neighbourhood, shopping district or shopping centre.
What Does This Mean in Practice?
| City | Examples of neighbourhoods and shopping centres |
|---|---|
| Bangkok | Ekkamai, On Nut, Thong Lo, Ari, EmQuartier |
| London | Shoreditch, Notting Hill, Chelsea, Hampstead, Battersea Power Station |
| Amsterdam | Amsterdam-Oost, De Pijp, Jordaan, Oud-West |
| Singapore | Tiong Bahru, Holland Village, Katong, ION Orchard |
| Riyadh | Al Olaya, Hittin, Al Nakheel, Al Malqa, Centria Mall |
Your exclusivity continues for 6 months after your most recent wholesale order, extending automatically with every new order.
